How long will my cake last?
From my kitchen to your fridge, your Mondvol cake can last easily up until 4 days.
Can I freeze my cake?
Yes! Make sure it is cold and hard to touch, the you can. wrap it in cling-wrap and place it in your freezer. It can be frozen for a few months (if you can wait that long). When you take it out, let it come to room temperature and voila!
Do you use Fondant?
I only use fondant for my letters/ messages, figurines or elements on the cake. I do not cover my cakes with fondant and only use my American Buttercream.
Refunds for Compromised Taste / Quality:
- We take utmost care to ensure the quality and taste / quality of our baked goods. In the rare event that the taste of the product is compromised, we will provide a refund. However, the following conditions must be met:
- The customer must notify us within 24 hours of receiving the product.
- The customer must provide sufficient evidence or proof to demonstrate that the taste / quality was indeed compromised.
Refunds for Undelivered Product Specs Orders:
- If an order has not been delivered according to specifications of the the customer (the size is incorrect, wrong flavour, completely wrong design) we will provide a refund. However, the following conditions apply:
- The customer must notify us within 24 hours of the scheduled pick up time.
- The customer must provide relevant information and proof, such as the order number and delivery (products) details, to confirm that the order was not correct.
- We cannot issue refunds under the following circumstances:
- The customer is not satisfied with the interpretation of the design. As cake design is subjective, we strive to meet the customer’s expectations, but individual interpretations may vary.
- The customer willingly purchased the cake, understanding and accepting the associated risks. This includes instances where the design did not meet their specific expectations or they might feel that the cake is too small (even though cake sizes are given and chosen)
- If you believe you are eligible for a refund based on the conditions stated above, please follow these steps:
- a. Contact our team within 24 hours of receiving the product.
- Provide the necessary details, including order number, product details, and evidence to support your refund claim.
- Our team will review your request and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
- If your refund request is approved, we will initiate the refund process using the original payment method. Please note that it may take a few business days for the refunded amount to reflect in your account.
